Remember Things You Realize When Re-Reading Clockwork Princess? Well, somebody named M answered four of my questions! Thank you so much! Here is her answer:

Hi! I saw a link to your blog post recently. Since I am a HUGE fan of The Infernal Devices, I decided to give it a read. And I agree, there are a lot of details you miss the first time, and connections one can make after re-reading. So I read the questions at the bottom, and thought I would try to take a shot at answering them. DISCLAIMER: These are just my theories and answers, contradictory information can totally exist. Please don't stone me.

1. Who ran the London Institute after Will? No idea. I'm tempted to say it was James Herondale and that the Herondale line remained in London for a while (since Stephen Herondale, Jace's real father, was said to have come from London and had a British accent in Tales From Shadowhunter Academy: The Evil We Love). However, there is no concrete evidence to support that.

2. How did Jem and Tessa communicate while he was a Silent Brother (it says that Jem decided it was too dangerous one year and so they didn't come)? I assume they communicated the same way Shadowhunters normally do with Silent Brothers. Like "I have a message for Brother Zachariah." Or maybe they had some sort of code even, like "Tessa broke her finger again" was some sort of code sentence. Huh. I think I just wrote my own (bad) headcanon.

3. Did Will know about these yearly meetings? Yes. He did. There is a comic strip by Cassandra Jean depicting the time Jem, during one of the yearly meetings, tells Tessa she is pregnant, who in turn tells Will [who] asks "Is Jem all right?" implying that he knew Tessa was going to see him, and probably knew she went to see him every year. Also, in another comic strip by Cassandra Jean, showing when Tessa and Jem get married on that same bridge, Will's ghost explains to Jessamine that the two are getting married on that bridge because they met there once a year.

4. How did Tessa know Magnus would be in France after Will died? I don't think she did. She just ran into him conveniently. Hope this helped! I must com[e] across as a very hardcore fan of The Shadowhunter Chronicles when actually I just have a good memory. (And of course, a bit of a fangirl passion). I hope you have a nice day!
