Same Old, Same Old (Characters)

I really enjoy reading new series which have "old" characters who were the main character in their own series, like when Jason saw that picture of Annabeth, Thalia and Luke in TLH and he's all new to this but I miss them just as much as Annabeth does and I KNOW them and I'm sad, and I feel like I'm coming home to the Percy Jackson series and-- WAIT THE FEELS ARE ATTACKING I WILL BE BACK SOON. *** Or when Tessa and Jem appeared in TMI (or Lady Midnight for that matter) and I KNOW THEM and I REMEMBER stuff they're talking about and I feel like this almighty goddess who knows and remembers and feels and misses things that THE MAIN CHARACTERS DON'T know about and it might be about their family or ancestors but I KNOW THEM BETTER THAN THOSE CHARACTERS DO. It's just so amazing and it's one of the reasons I love reading Rick Riordan and Cassandra Clare, because when they have so many series this stuff happens a lot. Do you guys feel that too? (If you actually want to respond to that, which would be lovely, my email is tal.fandoms@gmail.com or you can just comment on the blog)
Sorry this was a short one... oh well
